SOL Summer 2019 - Writing

- SOL Test Dates: July 22 and 23 and July 24 and 25
Testing begins at 8:30 a.m.

Please register online for summer testing. Registering will sign your student up for the remediation sessions and the test itself. The deadline to register for remediation and testing is on July 8, 2019.
SOL Summer 2019 - Non-Writing
- Subjects: Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, World History I, World History II, Virginia/United States History, Modern Global Studies, and Reading
- Remediation Dates: August 5–7
- Remediation Time:
8:00 a.m. to noon - Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, World History I, and World History II
12:30 to 3:30 p.m. - Algebra II
2:00 to 5:00 p.m. - Reading and Virginia/United States History
*Remediation will be unavailable at Hanover High School for Modern Global Studies.
- SOL Test Dates: August 8
Testing begins at 8:30 a.m.
- Expedited Retakes: Will be available the week of August 12
- Location: Hanover High School 10307 Chamberlayne Avenue, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23116

Additional Preparation
We recommend that you utilize the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) practice items at home, in addition to attending the provided remediation sessions, to ensure success. You may use the resources below to find released tests and/or complete practice items provided by the Virginia Department of Education.
