Universities look for service hours from applicants, so showing that you have community service hours is a way to set yourself above the rest on a college application. Working toward and receiving the Principal's Service Award will help you stand out above the rest.
Students who average at least 50 hours of community service per year of enrollment at Hanover High School will be eligible to receive the Principal's Service Award at graduation. Students are responsible for maintaining documentation of service hours until May of their senior year.
