PTSA Meetings for 2021–2022

  • More information to follow.

Membership

Individual memberships are $8, and the whole family can join for $21 (up to four members). You can join at OSP, or send fee payment to school with your student. If you were a member last year, you have probably already gotten a membership renewal email. That works too! Seniors, remember you must be a member in order to be eligible for consideration for PTSA scholarships.

Fundraising Opportunities

Kroger Community Rewards

Create an account and login to Kroger Community Rewards. Sign in to “My Account” using your e-mail and password. (For first time users: click Sign Up Today in the New Customer box. Enter zip code, favorite store, e-mail address, create a password and agree to the terms and conditions. Check for e-mail confirming you are set up and use the link in that e-mail to proceed.) Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and enter your Kroger Plus card number and click confirm/update. Enter 91606, select Hanover High School from the list, click on confirm once more to enroll. You should see Hanover High on the right side of your information page. Then just use your Kroger Plus card when you shop! Annual re-enrollment is required after September 1. Thanks for your past support! Kroger is our #1 funding source for programs so we rely on your support very much.

Amazon Smile

Who doesn’t shop on Amazon? Log-in to your Amazon account from www.smile.amazon.com and you’ll be able to choose a non-profit organization that will receive a small donation with every purchase. We are easy to find at Hanover High School PTSA.

Hawk Fund

Many families prefer to make a donation rather than participating in fundraiser after fundraiser. If you would like to help in this way, we are setting up a PayPal link to make that possible for you. Donations go towards supporting programs, scholarships for graduating HHS students, and grants to teachers for things to improve their instruction. Donations are tax-deductible.

Volunteer Parent Flash Mob

Most months of the year, the PTSA does something for our teachers and/or students. We are working to make it easier for all parents to lend a hand now-and-then. We’ll be posting a Google form soon with the dates of our parent flash mobs so you can sign up to spend as little as 2 hours for the entire school year doing a project that brings a smile to the faces of folks at HHS.

Virginia Credit Union "All In"

We are continuing our partnership with the Virginia Credit Union with the “All In” savings program. Students who open an All In savings account at the credit union and save at least $25 by the end of the school year will have $25 added to their account by the Credit Union (a parent must be a PTSA member to qualify). Your PTSA membership will be paid for, and then some, just by encouraging your student to establish the habit of saving! More particulars will be available in August at fee night.
